North Pole

The North Pole is one of the coldest places on earth. It's a very unique spot because very few people or animals live there. There was lot's of snow en and a beautiful blue sky, but it was very, very cold.

The North Pole is part of a few different countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Canada, Russie and the United States. Al these countries are responsible together for making sure that the Northpole is cared for. Sometimes, that isn't easy at all. Lot's of people are worries that the ice is melting and the Nortpole is shrinking!

Animals like polarbears live on the ice. They need it to walk around, find food, and rest. When the North Pole shrinks, they lose their home! The fish are in trouble too: when the ice was still very thick, fisherman couldn't reach them. But now, with the ice dissapearing, the fish are in danger!
